Dave’s passion for justice stems from his upbringing in a family of healthcare providers, where he learned the importance of helping others. With a “just do it” attitude, he has dedicated over 40 years to protecting the rights of property owners in construction defect litigation, insurance coverage disputes, and common interest community matters.
Shaping the Law for Homeowners
Before becoming an attorney, Dave worked in Washington, D.C., as a legislative aide to Congressman Otis Pike. His experience on Capitol Hill gave him firsthand knowledge of the legislative process, assisting in the development of laws addressing energy tax credits, healthcare fraud prevention, and cost control. This legislative background played a key role in his legal career, particularly in his efforts with Nevada Citizens for Justice (CFJ). Dave was instrumental in shaping “Chapter 40,” a groundbreaking law that provides strong protections for homeowners facing construction defects.
