The son of a Navy man, Jon’s journey took him from the familiar rhythm of his father’s footsteps into the embrace of the Navy in 1984.  Serving aboard the Guided Missile Cruiser, CG-33 USS Fox, he carved his path in Electronic Warfare, a combat veteran from Operation Earnest Will.  The world was vast and wild, and Jon met it head-on, eyes wide open to the chaos and beauty of it all.

After an honorable discharge from the Navy, Jon channeled his passion to learn into a career as a lawyer.   With the gusto of a man on a mission he dove into the books with a fervor, chasing knowledge like a man possessed.  It was no surprise that Jon raked in scholarship awards, authored a published article for his law school’s Law Review and graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Upon completion of a judicial clerkship, Jon plunged into construction defect litigation, initially representing Developers, General Contractors, and Insurance Companies fighting over the numerous and complex construction defect claims and defenses. Every case a new puzzle, every claim a new story to unravel, a new war to wage, he navigated it all and learned the ultimate game inside-and-out.

However, Jon yearned for a broader impact.  Opportunity led Jon to change his focus to prosecuting property owner claims for defective construction against builders, developers and contractors.  Over the years, Jon has built a reputation as a trial lawyer and strong advocate in the protection of homeowners, condominium and townhome owner rights.  His accomplishments include one of the largest Nevada trial verdicts for defective construction against the builder of a condominium association.  During his 30+ years in practice, Jon has recovered over $200+ million for his homeowner clients.

Still the warrior, the advocate, the dreamer, he joined the firm of his long-time friend Dave Pursiano bringing his wealth of experience, his passion and his relentless drive.  Jon’s life is a tapestry of battles won and lessons learned, a testament to resilience and the pursuit of excellence.  At Pursiano Law, he channels that spirit, helping guide clients through the labyrinth with the same unwavering dedication that has defined his journey.
